Les 50 meilleurs Greatest Hits du rock

Deux journalistes du réseau américain CNN, Mark Carroll et Jeff Green, se sont livrés à un exercice intéressant c’est-à-dire présenter les 50 meilleurs « Greatest Hits » de musique rock. Le Greatest Hits est un genre souvent boudé par les critiques et journalistes musicaux et pourtant certains sont essentiels à toute collection d’amateurs de musique.
Les deux auteurs ont évacué de la liste les coffrets et les compilations comprenant plusieurs artistes.

Voici donc la liste des 50 meilleurs albums de Greatest Hits présentés sans ordre particulier :
